Manage preferences
Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Optional cookies are the advertising pixel, Google Analytics and the site events described below; you can turn them on or off here at any time.
Checking your current choice.
slowhumans.com works the same whether you accept or reject optional cookies.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to work and do not need consent.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consent choice | slowhumans.com | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | 12 months |
| Security cookies | Cloudflare | Tell real visitors from automated attacks | Up to 1 day |
Optional: advertising
Advertising pixels load only after you select “Accept”. Without that choice, the page makes no request to an advertising platform.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
Meta pixel (_fbp) |
Meta | Measures which advertisements lead to sign-ups | 3 months |
Optional: analytics
Every page carries the Google Analytics tag. Until you select “Accept”, it sets and reads no cookies and tells Google only that a page was opened, without anything that tells your browser apart from another. The cookies below are set only after you accept. It runs without Google signals and without advertising features.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
Google Analytics (_ga) |
Measures how visitors use the site by telling one browser from another | 2 years | |
Google Analytics (_ga_<container-id>) |
Keeps track of the current visit for the same measurement | 2 years |
Site events
The site records which pages are viewed and which buttons are used, without a lasting identifier in your browser. Until a legal review confirms that this needs no consent, these events are also recorded only after you accept.
Changing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Rejecting after accepting stops the optional technologies from loading on the next page view; cookies already set expire or can be removed in your browser settings.
